Sharma Update
The Court of Appeals in Maryland has ruled in the Sharma case that the general assembly did not intend for foreign statutory trusts to obtain a collection agency license under MCALA before it’s substitute trustees file foreclosure actions. As a result, your files which were on Sharma hold may now be released and can move forward. Please see attached link below.
