Potestivo & Associates, P.C., is pleased to announce the hiring of two attorneys, Kimberly S. Morr, who will serve as an Associate Attorney in our St. Louis office, and Jeremy L. Marks who will serve as Supervising Bankruptcy Attorney, located in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Both joined the team of 25 attorneys in July 2017.

Kimberly serves as an Associate Attorney working out of the firm’s St. Louis office. She graduated from McKendree College with a double Bachelor of Arts for Political Science and Sociology with Criminal Justice emphasis, with a minor in History and International Relations. She then went on to earn her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2010 from the Stevens Institute of Business, followed by her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University in 2015. During her time in law school, she served as a Rule 13 practicing associate at the SLU Law Clinic, where she represented community members needing legal assistance. She was tasked with many different assignments, including oral arguments and appellate briefs for Workers Compensation claimant’s who were denied benefits. She prepared pleadings bringing suit against multiple municipalities for illegal fees and practices, and worked on Title VII appellate briefs.

Jeremy L. Marks joined Potestivo & Associates, P.C. in July 2017. Jeremy works at the firm’s Rochester office and serves as the Supervising Bankruptcy Attorney in the Michigan Bankruptcy Department. Jeremy graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a B.A in Political Science – Pre-Law. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor in 2009 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI. He graduated cum laude as well as received the certificate of merit in his state administrative law class. During his time in law school, he was a member of the board of editors for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review serving as the symposium editor. He also served as an extern in the preliminary hearings division for the Michigan Court of Appeals.
